Sonica’s approach to skin care is uniquely tailored to everyone’s specific skin needs. As a Latina, she understands the struggles people with skin of color generally experience regarding skincare. Her passion is to educate everyone on the importance of proper skin care protocols for beautiful and healthy skin. She has emphasized much of her education on melasma, hyperpigmentation, acne, and premature wrinkle prevention.
She also developed a product line of sheet masks based on antioxidants and peptides with a delivery system called nano-liposome technology. This is one of the most sophisticated ways to ensure penetration of ingredients past the epidermis.
Sonica splits her time between the Hudson Valley, where she owns a boutique skin care studio, and Manhattan, NY, working at Alinea Medspa on 590 Fifth Ave.
